Evidence-Based Medicine Blog Writing Contest 2017

Do you blog? Here’s a worthwhile way to put your skills to the test.  If you have never blogged, here’s a good place to start.

Cochrane Malaysia together with Penang Medical College is proud to announce a blog writing competition for undergraduate and postgraduate students of health in Malaysia. This competition is also supported by Students4BestEvidence (S4BE). S4BE is an award-winning UK blog and is a growing network of students interested in learning more about evidence-based healthcare. The website features over 400 blogs written by, and for, students. You may visit http://www.students4bestevidence.net/start-here/who-are-s4be/ for information about S4BE.

All you have to do is write an original blog in English on one of the following:

·       Evidence based health practice – a fairytale or reality?

·       Challenges in learning Evidence Based Medicine and how I overcame them.

The best entry of this contest will be published on the website S4BE. In addition, a total of USD500 book vouchers from Wiley are to be won by the three top entries.

Submit your entries by email to Ms Nila Pillai, nila@pmc.edu.my before 12 midnight, 30 September 2017. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.

Here you can download Rules and Regulations and the Submission Form.
