Cochrane Malaysia awards for outstanding contributions. Volunteer translators and editors - 2025

The year 2025, eleven years after the launch of the Cochrane Malay Translation Initiative in 2015, continued to be a productive and impactful year.

In 2025, we achieved another important milestone with the publication of our 4,941st Malay Plain Language Summary (PLS).

These achievements would not have been possible without the generous contributions of our volunteer translators and editors, all of whom serve on a voluntary basis. Our volunteers are healthcare students and practitioners from more than ten institutions in Malaysia and abroad.

It is almost impossible to adequately thank these volunteers for their dedication and hard work. As a form of recognition, Cochrane Malaysia awards Certificates of Recognition annually to high-contributing translators and editors.

This year, we are pleased to recognise 11 editors (who were also recipients in 2025) and 4 translators for their outstanding contributions.
