The year 2025, eleven years after the launch of the Cochrane Malay Translation Initiative in 2015, continued to be a productive and impactful year.In 2025, we achieved another important milestone with the publication of our 4,941st Malay Plain Language Summary (PLS).

Cochrane Malaysia is pleased to introduce the Guidelines International Network (GIN) Annual Conference 2026 that is coming to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in September. This is the first time the conference has come to East and South East Asia.

Cochrane Malaysia is pleased to announce Cochrane Malaysia Electives for 2026. The aim of this four-week elective placement is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the processes involved in Cochrane systematic review production and dissemination.

Senaman boleh mengurangkan simptom kemurungan pada takat yang sama seperti terapi psikologi, menurut ulasan Cochrane yang dikemas kini. Apabila dibanding dengan ubat antidepresan, senaman juga menunjukkan kesan yang serupa, tetapi buktinya berkepastian rendah.

In conjunction with the 2nd RUMC International Medical Research Conference 2025, Cochrane Malaysia conducted the Intervarsity Competition & Workshop: "Communicating Evidence to Empower Informed Decision-making 2.0" at RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus (RUMC), Penang on 28 November 2025. It was held as a pre-conference event for undergraduate students. 

On 28 November 2025, Cochrane Malaysia conducted the Intervarsity Competition & Workshop: "Communicating Evidence to Empower Informed Decision-making 2.0" in conjunction with the 2nd RUMC International Medical Research Conference 2025 at RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus (RUMC), Penang. It was held as a pre-conference event for undergraduate students. 

On 14 November 2025, we had our Cochrane Update and Meetup for Volunteer Translators 2025 at IMU University. Associate Professor Dr Teguh and Associate Professor Dr Tan updated us about the changes and progress of Cochrane and Cochrane Malaysia. Prof Jackie lead various interesting discussions. Dr Kuan Pei Xuan also shared our recent CoTRaQ project. The volunteer translators and editors who attended the event contributed lots of valuable suggestions and discussions for improvement and advancement.
