The Institute for Research, Development and Innovation (IRDI), IMU University, in collaboration with Cochrane Malaysia, will host a three-day Cochrane Systematic Review Workshop.

Designed as an interactive, skills-based workshop, the programme will take participants through the major steps involved in developing and conducting a systematic review of interventions using Cochrane methods.
Rather than relying on lectures alone, participants will learn through a combination of short presentations, small-group activities and hands-on exercises. Topics will include:
- Formulating a focused review question and developing a review protocol;
- Searching for, screening and selecting studies;
- Assessing risk of bias using RoB 2;
- Analysing dichotomous and continuous outcomes;
- Understanding and conducting meta-analysis;
- Using RevMan Web for data entry, analysis and presentation of findings;
- Understanding heterogeneity and bias due to missing results;
- Assessing certainty of evidence using GRADE; and
- Reporting a systematic review.

The workshop is particularly suitable for researchers, academics, clinicians, postgraduate students and others who are undertaking, planning or interested in systematic reviews. Participants who already have a review question or project in mind will also have opportunities to relate the methods and exercises to their own work.
