A networking meeting was held on 27 April 2024 at the National Institutes of Health, Setia Alam, Malaysia among representatives from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand and Australia. The objective of the meeting was to identify how we can work together to strengthen Cochrane review production and dissemination in the South East Asia, particularly among the low and middle-Income countries. The directors/co-directors of each country took turns to present their strengths, weaknesses and challenges in each centre.
The common strengths were that all the centers in South East Asia were well established and have a good reputation in their own country. The main weakness was limited resources within each country. The discussion mainly centered around partnerships and prioritization for the region.
Most of the attendees participated in the Title Proposal Workshop held the previous day and several joint reviews were proposed.
